In a plant facility at Berlin Westhafen, Siemens presented the largest and most efficient gas turbine in the world to an audience of industrial experts. With creative light design and aerial acrobatics,
brought the power to the people. The new gas turbine weighs in at 440 tons, is 13 meters long and five meters high, and at 340 Megawatts has much power as 13 jumbo jet engines.

The message to be communicated: “Siemens possesses extraordinary innovative energy and manufactures world-class technological products.”
Petra Klossek, Marketing Communication Consultant at Siemens Berlin, explained why the company decided to use the
concept: “As a technology corporation, we were most impressed with the particular multimedia application
had selected.” What’s more, Agency CEO Johannes Pappert gave the leading role to the turbine itself – and had it “strip down”. Instead of hiding it behind a curtain, he integrated the colossus into the set design.

”Audience resonance proved we had achieved our goal. All the participants at the event were seriously impressed,” concluded Klossek with satisfaction. Feedback from customers, employees and press representatives was excellent. Her personal highlight will always be a film that
produced especially for the event: “Building the SGT-8000H.”
