The 46th convention of the German Dermatological Society was the third in a row to be held at the ICC in Dresden. Following the great success of the Europe-wide electronic poster exhibition (see EADV 2010), the DDG congress for the first time decided to replace all printed posters with modern ePosters.

A total of 18 presentation rooms with capacities up to 500 were outfitted with sound, video and IT technology, including technical support.
was also responsible for equipping the offices for event administration and press, as well as networking the DDG booth at the exhibition. Sound recordings for documenting the board meeting and member meeting were edited on site in order to make them available to customers as soon as possible.
To manage the 1000 contributors,
’s “Kongress O-Mat” media manager was employed, which coordinated with the congress’s corporate identity. With eight stations and five experienced media operators, contributors were able to make submissions without waiting. Around 300 posters were received online and checked before the conference so that they would be available immediately from the beginning of the congress.

Several afternoon symposiums were recorded as screencasts and then projected in presentation rooms with live-OPs, light and camera.
was on-hand with 21 sound, video and IT technicians, all coordinated by the agile and flexible "man with the pony tail“.
