At the opening ceremony of the 100th anniversary of the International Electrotechnical Commission at the Maritim Hotel in Berlin, we spun the scarlet thread that tied all the anniversary events together. The theme was 100 years of technical progress: the “Electric Century” of the IEC from 1906 to 2006. Contemporary set design including three integrated screens and high-tech light design served as the basis for communicating the impressive content. 
produced the opener movie "Berlin Synphonie" and a narrative documentary about the history of electricity in conjunction with Berlin and Germany.
A highpoint of the presentation was the performance of one of the pioneers of German electronic music – Tangerine Dream founder Edgar Froese wowed the 1,600 international guests with his performance, which was projected live to the giant screens.
