"1906-2006 - the electric century" was the recurring theme throughout the three evenings of events for the International Electrotechnical Commissions centenary celebration.

The "opening ceremony", Event "100 years of IEC" and the "technology night" thrilled 2000 international guests.

The highlight with standing ovations was the event in the Berlin concert hall at the gendarmenmarkt. A multimedia production with projections, actors, musicians and dancers.p> An audio-visual journey through the "electric century" with visions of the future. Interaction between live and filmed actors- Technical innovation played the leading role in this.
